How to look taller? Hey everybody! My friend SOL was really shocked after she saw me in person because I was even shorter than she expected. She gave me the idea to make this video! I'm a shorty but I know my body shape well and how to style, so I look taller than my acutual height. It's all about body proportions! Nice video! I am 4’11” and decades older than you. I’ve found that attitude is the single most important factor in looking taller (NOT kidding!) - confidence will give a short person “presence “. And, yes, weight also affects how short we look: when I’m heavier, I look short; when I’m thin, I just look tiny (but not particularly short).

4'9" is 145cm (4x12 + 9 then multiply by 2.54 to convert to cm)... and 5ft is 152.. maybe you are 4'11.5"

I never really thought about how short I looked in the type of clothes I wear, I just know I've always been short lol. But this was so interesting to watch. I'm only 5'1 and I'm 23 but get mistaken for a lot younger because I'm so small. It's very annoying though because I also don't get taken seriously because everyone looks at me and thinks I'm a young teenager.

I'm Asian and, I'm 5'3.5". I have really small feet and hands. It's really sad because, for some reason the rest of my family is freakishly tall for Asians. And, for some reason people who don't know me always say that I'm 12...I'm 16 years old.

You're not 4'9" by the way. 4'9" would be 145cm. You're actually 4'11", or probably 5'.

It's 4.9 feet, not 4 foot 9 inches. 1 foot = 12 inches, not 10, so 9/10 of a foot is actually closer to 11 inches.

it's a really confusing way to measure things and it varies from country to country which may be the reason why the converter she used gave something different. I prefer the metric system...

I love this! I've always been stylish because I can't help it if I'm short and people don't take me seriously so I made myself stylish and ur advices really work!!! But an advice from me, if ur short, try to work out and keep a slender figure bcoz that extra pound will only emphasize ur short height. 😄

So happy to see this video by an actual short person. I'm only 4'11" and I struggle so much to find styles that match me. And when I go to search online for petite fashion tips they're always by people 5'3" to 5'5"which is like on the average or even taller side where I'm from.

i feel like they cadder to models who are 5ft 9 or taller as being kinda tall and 5ft 4 is kinda short and 5ft 6 is avrage, when in reality it is reall 5ft 4 or event 5ft 3 that is avrage. I should know 5ft 7 and up is defnatly tall. out in public its like looking at ants barely any one gets to 5ft 7 it is exstreamly rare event men only get to 5ft 6 at tops. I almost have to laght but it is scary to see everyone have to turn therir heads 90 degrees to look up to you and brake their necks and like die. okay i get that i exsarated but that be how it is....

Thank you for your videos. I'm 4"10" and have been told many times that I'm short, as if I didn't know. What many taller women don't realize is that as shorter women, we tend not to show our age as much. Good things come in small packages just like diamonds! 😃😃

I’m 4’ 10 and my hack is wearing long flared pants to make my legs look longer. Also, MIDI SKIRTS, especially flared or mermaid midi skirts really accentuate your figure 😭💕 Always tuck in your shirt for longer legs 😃

I am over 30 and 4'9". I cannot tell you how often people make the assumption that I am under 21. Ugh, a tad annoying when they say "Oh, you look young." The more appropriate thing to say is, "You look youthful." Then I reply, "Having no children keeps me young!" Thanks girl for representing the petite women crew and for sharing so many tricks to maximize our natural beauty, within such a small but amazing package.👌🏽
