heeeeey welcome back worm curse! also here's a little tip that helps me atleast, since i never go without a backpack. i try to keep my clothing stacked in a logical way. backpack on top, jacket/shirt in the middle, a vest sometimes above that but closed (i only use those for combat related items anyway), and then pants at the bottom. aside from that, my inventory management skills suck lol. its usually just whatever fits where unless i have alot of certain item types, then i try to group those together. i also look for the medium sized bags the ones around 30-40 slots, it allows me to have extra space for trade/barter items. i love finding players willing to trade. right now im carrying a fresh mask and a filter. never gonna go into a toxic zone, but they make great items to trade your way out of a situation or into one, even if theyre on the large side. i will never say no to a hunting backpack or a taloon.

Your style is similar to mine, light and stamina are most important. The problem is some modded servers have unlimited stamina and you come across running mobile bases. Great video!

the first time i ever found a plate carrier and assault helmet there was a giant difference and i felt 10x more powerful and practically invincible, only problem is i usually end up with 5% stamina lol

I'm a prepper. I'll always carry more then I need incase a player needs help or a serious DayZ moment occurs. I wear light but warm clothing like tactical shirts, quilted jackets and hiking shirts for long trekking into my favorite part of the map. The west forest areas

I personally prefer being light like you do with sleek black clothing to mask me at night. I also personally prefer carrying a sniper rifle and an SMG because it’s lighter than the usual sniper and rifle and because some SMGs such as the bizon take common ammo and pistol suppressors, making it ideal for killing zombies. One last thing I like to carry for my arsenal is a combat knife alongside a hunting knife, one for skinning and various situations and the other for combat. It’s light and easily repairable with a sharpening stone.

Hey you gave me an idea , I normally hate building a base and I am usually a solo player because I hate being raised all the time or wasting my time building a base for no reason ,but here is the deal , you cannot carry all the necessary items to survive in dayz to die and lose it all , you can however bury it ,but if you're a lazy player like me then really there is no reason to do such thing ,I normally begin get enough food to last me until I make it to the next town and if I can find some meds and bandages then that's a bonus and move on until the next town and so on until I'm geared .. but then you become careless and die ... ,I think the best option is to build a small 4x 4 with a tent and some crates in and then choose to be a soldier or fisherman or a bandit whatever the choice is ,and I think that's the easiest option for me and safest way

Weather or not I want to use a plate carrier if I find one is always a tough decision for me.

The only real time I have a problem with stamina is base building. Looking for tools and nails. I’ll even carry an xtra bag out all the heavy stuff in there and I can drop in a sec for fights

The two best lightweight tents I know weigh 9kg (preferred) and 6kg (Just that tad too flimsy for me to trust it, plus it costs more than twice what the other one does). Compare to the pretty realistic 12kg of the plate carrier: Putting it on, you've decided to become a walking base ;)

Good advices, but personally me prefer the heavier style of play. It is extremely difficult to survive without armor, especially on official servers where there are a lot of cheaters. But with the right approach to planning and inventory management, you can survive indefinitely - I strongly agree.

It's Funny, I want to learn how to properly manage my inventory, however I recently encountered a bug were I logged in and my shoes, top and pants were gone however since my inventory was a mess I had some important gear in my bag, this happened twice in a row...huu
