the actual right thing to do is to listen to your bad feelings and tell the abuser or perp to shove it with every bit of that emotional energy their abuse gave you. can't always do it safely... but there's also NO WAY to place the onus of "just think gud" on the victim.

I thought that title to myself today.. my boyfriend is being really hard to love. And with out me saying this title aloud, it popped up in my recommendation. How beautiful can god be. I really needed to hear this, especially the part where she stated to not go to god and part for my partner to change but pray for myself first and humble myself. Then pray for god to give the person in my prayers what they need, not what I want for them. That really changed my perspective thank you .

@@hlengimageba9206 Hi, so honestly I talked to him over and over and that didn’t work so I had to part ways from him.. he then came back and spoke to me after a month of being apart and I told him i would give it another shot if i don’t see change i will express it and if it continues I’d just leave again. We worked things out and we’re still together (: things have changed he isn’t hard to love he’s the opposite and a lot of the other misunderstandings we were having are no longer there so it’s safe to say things are going great (:

This sets people in abusive situations in a very dangerous situation. It also, puts abusers in a position to truly never being dealt with. Forgive them, and then get the hell out of your abusive relationship.

@@tional5266 She didn't articulate it so she is talking about abusive people. and the one thing I really think hurts Christianity is the guilt trip these pastors put on people and call it "teaching". I'm so sick of it. The gaslighting and making the person feel like everything that is happening to them is their fault. I am also sick of the hypocrisy. One day she says we are already forgiven, and then in another message it's you have to forgive in order to get God's forgiveness. I think they are all full of crap.

I love that Joyce says , behaviour modification is not what people need but they need a heart change. This is so true. God let us humble ourselves to allow your healing love to mend our broken hearts ,that we can flow with your Grace and Love to others. The Law corrects but Grace transforms. 💕

I'll never forget my depressed and dying mother watching Joyce with me and sitting up with energy to nod along with her. There was a smile and brightness. She followed Jesus. Loved him. Jesus Christ healed me! This is my story about my healing! I was extremely ill! I had diabetes and kidney failure, which urgently requires dialysis! I prayed to God to heal me, not for me, because I don't deserve it, but for my little children, who were left without a mother! in exactly that day, in which I prayed, the Lord healed me! I suddenly felt the pain in my kidneys go away, as well as the dryness in my mouth (diabetes). I'm a new women now! I thank the Lord for His mercy and love for us!

Back when my now grown kids where young, I prayed for God to change them bc what they said or did was hurtful and if God would change them my life would be better or easier. What a selfish prayer. God dealt with me on that. He grew me and changed my perspective. Today I pray for them not bc they hurt me, but bc they have idendity and value and God loves them, they just don't see it.

Papa, Forgive me, I didn't know or realized until now. I was not praying proper. I am humble, even now, help me love my husband even when he doesn't love me, help me to have eyes like you when I see him,.
