Nice video mate. I have a 370whp R34. Similar mods to you for a lot of them. Hypergear hiflow but I forget which one. I had a power fc with a greddy ebc. I have since got a haltech platinum pro, but haven't yet got the boost running off it. The greddy unit is limiting me to 17psi for some reason. Return flow fmic, walbro 255 without relay mod. Bosch 1000cc with factory reg. 3 inch turbo back exhaust. Will need to upgrade pump when I go to flex tune, and hoping for another 50hp or so 👍

cheers mate! more goods to come! is that a new place? guess depends where you go and how long it takes, mine took all night as there were some issues with the boost but got it sorted and continued on. i got quoted by 3 other places around same price but wouldnt work on car if something happened so overall chasers did an amazing job and car goes so good, just need bigger and longer roads to enjoy its full potential haha! how much power you running?
@boosts145 жыл бұрын
I run flex on my car and it took all week to fine tune, $2600. And also run a complete seperate file e85 tune with for drags/events which was $600 extra while it was in getting flex set up. Cheap tunes are usually cheap for a reason.
@steve85jobs5 жыл бұрын
Clutch Kick Junkies admittedly my car there for some touch ups to its fuel system (moving some pipes in boot), so maybe I'm wrong on the pricing, my car has 600hp atw so it might be different in the way its tuned as it runs a Link G4. Although come to think of it, its been done a couple of times before. So its probably because it wasnt done from scratch that it was less expensive. Still, kudos on your videos, i love seeing what you are both up to. 😁

A typical walbro and similar doesn't but the huge 400lph++ pumps need a new relay and feed due to the amp load. Drawing big current will melt the fitting on the fuel lid too.
@zapblunts96675 жыл бұрын
It depends on the amps drawn from the pump. My 360lph fuel pump draws upto 25 or so amp need minimum 25 amp fuse and 30 amp wire and relay Hot wired from positive on battery Triggered from the ecu trigger. To work out a fuel pumps flow rate disconect line fill container. Operate pump for 2 min and calculate the ltrs achieved x 30. (2minx30= 60min)

@ClutchKickJunkies5 жыл бұрын
cheers mate! i wanna run a mic to the exhaust to capture the sound better on limiter ;) with tuning for decents tunes always gonna cost heaps. few cars i know have been tuned around 1500 for just on pump 98 so you could imagine another full day tune on e85 would cost then blend. josh paid 1500 for a tune when he had twin turbos on the gtr and they stuffed it up so bad that within the next couple of days the turbo killed it self. did the single turbo conversion and he took it to chasers motorworks and they turned that thing into a beast and has no issues with it. they do amazing work

So im confused...... these are the mods you do to make 380ish horsepower not 400? I dont think id want to spend that much for that much horsepower on e85. Seems to much money for that much power on e85....
@ClutchKickJunkies5 жыл бұрын
Need to run a new cooler and changing a couple things to crack over 400hp. Even without a e85 set up it’s still going to cost as much. Making power ain’t cheap and if you get someone else to do all the mods you’re in for bigger bucks to pay
@rubber_ducky87345 жыл бұрын
@@ClutchKickJunkies i thought 400 to 450 hp was easily achievable on pump fuel on a rb25det with the turbo you have and cooler..... i take it the $$$ will go up now with a retune and a new cooler. How much boost will you put through it now?
@ClutchKickJunkies5 жыл бұрын
tao of hypergear made 400hp on 98 with his highflowed rb25 turbo. when the time comes i will sell my cooler and exhaust system and get new set up made. i originally wanted a plazmaman cooler so i might look into that. i dont know a single car friend that doesnt dump money on their car haha. i will jump to maybe 20-21psi of boost. with my set up there is plenty of more room for power so its always gonna be there if i ever upgrade to a ATR43 turbo. what do you own?

Don't know where you heard that bogus info on the Nismo 740 injectors man - I run E85 in my R33 with them with 0 problems.
@joeyjz47735 жыл бұрын
He probably meant it safer to run them with injectors designed for it. An old friend ran nismo injectors on E85 for a year in the 180sx two of them crapped them selves. What ecu are you using?
@joeyjz47735 жыл бұрын
+ with 1000cc over 740s a lot more room for power lel
@darianistead22395 жыл бұрын
I think he meant at certain power levels considering duty cycle with small side feeds and E85 fuel demand, also the metals used in modern top feeds which withstand the lack of lubrication caused by ethanol blends. So, not bogus information at all.
@inmaniac5 жыл бұрын
Darian Murcott-Istead he says, and I quote, “you can’t run e85 on those injectors”. I didn’t say top feeds aren’t better, for a myriad of reasons, but what he said was wrong hence me saying it’s bogus info, because it is. There are MANY people, myself included, running e85 perfectly fine using Nismo side feeds. Saying that you can’t is just plain wrong, and is all I was pointing out. So yes, bogus information.
@darianistead22395 жыл бұрын
@@inmaniaclol technically speaking you are correct if you pick apart his sentiment grammatically, you can even "run" stock injectors on e85. Wether one should or not is a completely different story and thus, this video is a builders guide to a reliably powerful RB, not a "what some may get away with" video so was said without saying.
