The gold is actually the cheapest thing in this dish, even cheaper than the ice cream or cutlery. Gold leaf is extremely inexpensive, it's like presenting a diamond wrapped in paper. I don't know why they even bothered, it doesn't look appetizing either.

After looking up some of the ingredients I feel like I could make this for like $100. Def wouldn't look as good but I initially thought that was like a $200 bowl of melted chocolate or $50 vanilla beans. Edible gold is a lot cheaper than I expected as well

It's barely 75 cents per sheet on many websites that sell gold sheets. So he probably marked up the gold about 1,000%, LOL... Also, Tahitian vanilla ice cream is only about $6 a pint at most specialty supermarkets.

Now, this is how you make this. First, you cover the inside of the cup with gold. Then, you put gold on top of the gold. After that, you put golden ice cream on this double layer of gold. Then, you put 3 more layers of gold on top. After, take your gold chocolate. Then, take your golden caviar which is infused with gold passion fruit and obtained from a golden deep sea fish from the gold sea. Finally, put this on a gold plate and enjoy with a gold spoon.
