This is a tutorial on making a mini album that has pages 6.25 X 6.25, making it great for 6X6 paper pads. But you also could use 12X12 paper pads. Sometimes I like to make the albums as I go, not making pockets or flaps ahead of time until I go thru the paper pad and then let the paper help dictate what interactive features to use.
Materials you will need are:
about 15 sheets of 65 pound cardstock. (I use recollections from Michaels, but most will so. Medium weight chipboard,
Scor-tape or scrappy tape- 1/4" and 3/8"
I also use Art Glitter Glue, but you can use a good strong wet adhesive
bone folder, paper trimmer, score board, pencil, ruler, I use a stylus to score the paper
I give the measurements in the video, but here is the scoring guide:1 1/2, 2,2 1/2, 2 7/8, 3 3/8, 3 7/8, 4 1/4, 4 3/4, 5 1/4, 5 5/8, 6 1/8, 6 5/8, 7, 7 1/2, 8, 8 3/8,8 7/8.
The binding system is 6 1/2 to start, but I trim it down to 6 3/16. The pages are (6) 6 1/4 X 6 1/4, and (6) 6 1/4 X 7 1/4
I do have another video that shows some interactive elements like pockets and flaps to give you some ideas: • Make a Mini Album Page...

Thank you for watching! I hope that you like the videos and can get some good ideas from them. Like so many makers I enjoy the process of creating. I started by making things for myself and had people say “you should sell these!” so that is what I did. Now I am pursuing my other dream which is to buy an RV and travel the country. I hope to be able to sustain the nomadic lifestyle so selling my creations will allow me to do that.
Please go ahead and subscribe and give me a thumbs up. I would love it if you would like to check out my other social media platforms.
