Just grap the biggest knife you found in your kitchen. Sharpen it if needed. When you want to be a pro and get some range, grap a broom (just the handle) and some duct tape, tape the knife on the handle and you have a spear (attention to secure is properly, if you don't you will very soon just have a stick).

I second this. He could make it with his logo/decal on the front of it too. One for testing and one to keep. Also it'd be nice to see the riot shield withstand some explosives if he could manage it. My own suggestion is I'm seeing a lack of defensive builds so a nice kite shield or buckler would be cool to see. you could make them offensive like you did with the dish shield except the buckler could have some inspiration from the razor swords or the trench club.

Good video. I'm a industrial mechanic by trade so I know a little about fabricating. Just a helpful hint, you should pick up a die grinder, the better ones use air. You can use stainless steel and literally polish it out to a chrome finish on many projects. Having access to a lathe and milling machine helps to. Turns weeks into days, with precision.

So many years later, I keep coming back to this video. Great work, dude. I’ve been a subscriber for years and I keep finding new stuff on your channel every time I watch. What’s the balance like on this thing? I’m a poor balisong practitioner, but I’m planning on making my own soon and thought the handles had to be proportionally heavier than the blade. Am I correct in this?

normally not too much more heavy. if either side is too heavy it won't flip properly. slight handle bias (where the handles are slightly heavier and the balance point lies on the handles close to the pivots) is preferred by many, but neutral (where the balance is close to or on the pivots) is also common
