In this video, I make a fake whiskey barrel Liquor cabinet from reclaimed pine wood. The barrel is a present for my 22-year-old brother that I gave him for Christmas. the barrel is 36 inches tall, 25 inches wide at the center, and 22 inches wide at the top and bottom

And now I just watched your large barrel video. I’m thinking two of these with a table between for the base of a bar! Awesome work

Phenomenal work at your age, this type of work isn't as popular as it used to be, ty for keeping it alive.

Big fan of your videos. Particularly the maximization of your material which makes for very little scrap. Props on showing how cool stuff can be made with minimal tool investment.

I get a lot of scrap wood from construction sites around town. With lumber prices how they are, it helps. Good job!

Well, kid. I just found you yesterday and I SUBSCRIBED to your channel. I have watched so many of your videos already. I’m a mom and grandma and I started doing some woodwork about 4 years ago. I never made anything before. I struggle squaring furniture . This is my big struggle. I admire your talent .

Josh you have a bank of creative ideas. Now that is an actual whiskey barrel but if you were to go and add a couple or 3 more strips around the barrel it would look more authentic. Schaweet build non the less 👍

Very talented looks good. When you cut 6 degree bevel cut was that on just one side of stave. 60 staves that would equal 360 with one side had to think of it👊

Josh, I think you did a great job no making this barrel. The finished project looks great and the person you made it for is really going to be happy. Yes, we know the ends of the barrel staves are tapered and are thinner than at the middle of the barrel. But as you're cutting the 6 degree angle on the edges, how is it that the ends are smaller than the middle??? When I rip pieces on my table saw whether the edge is being cut on an angle they come out parallel every time; the ends are never smaller than the middle. "Thanks in advance for anyone to reply how this is done."

I'm 18 now but 17 at the time of this video. I made my first project two years ago with no prior experience... my first project broke immediately but it was fun to make so everyday since then I have spent every free moment making things. Thanks for watching and maybe watch one of my newer videos, they are a lot better.
