My dad had a restoration and refinishing shop. He had a great old woodworker that worked for him and did most of the restoration. It was the 80s and all of the machines had almost no safety and were overpowered so my dad didn't let me do a lot with the power tools. Of course I became very proficient at sanding. I also became proficient at finishing. Sadly my dad passed before I could get into all of those power tools and 40 years later I have managed to put a few tools together and am practicing my woodworking skills almost every day. I tell you all of this because I am picking up lots from your videos and wanted to say thanks and I appreciate what you do. Have an awesome day. BTW I plan on using these finger joints on some small keep sake boxes I will give away for Christmas.

Similar experience as you. Except for me my grandfather was really old school and didn't care as much so I was using power tools with very little supervision at way too young. But I guess thankfully because almost 40 years later I have my own business. Keep at it and maybe you can make some money at it

this method was by far the best way all the other people would say that they had the simplest way to make a finger joint jig. I found that they did to much measuring and cutting to be what they called simple. I was waiting for this method to be shown. finally a true quick method with a single blade! thank-you.

I came to this video via a link of Badger's workshop, just today. I've seen many of your videos but this one probably not. (I didn't have a table saw that time) This video is so perfect. Thanks for sharing. I think this will be one of the first table saw jigs, as soon as I made a setup for my table saw. (it's still in the box) It took me 3 years to buy a table saw. I hope it'll be out of the box sooner than another three years.
