Nope, no flipping in between. At the end though, I do usually give them each a little tug because they start to crowd each other and overlap a bit.

Hi Jeanne. I think I would probably attach the lights after I finish each row of leaves. You could use pipe cleaners or zip ties to attach/drape them how you like, then add the next row of leaves and then repeat. I bet it would look very pretty! 🌲

I’ve attached below as well: I bought my mesh for this project from: Craftoutlet.com Supplies: Two rolls of 10" solid emerald green poly burlap mesh One UITC triangle wreath board (also can be found at Craftoutlet.com) 8" zip ties 12 plastic bulb ornaments (I bought mine at Dollar Tree) 12 color-coordinated pipe cleaners to "hang" your ornaments 2.5" wide wired ribbon for your tree topper One pipe cleaner for hanging Coordinating felt for the back of your tree
