How To Make A Code Blue WORSE | Nurse Life | LEGO Stop Motion
The nurse life can have some pretty intense moments... like a Code Blue. A Code Blue indicates a medical emergency that requires immediate assistance. There are teams called the Rapid Response Team (RRT) that are designated to attend a Code Blue. Whenever you hear that Code Blue announced over the PA, you think of healthcare workers like on TV... running down the halls, doing whatever they can to get to the location.
People often ask me why the announcer of the Code Blue doesn't sound more urgent... I think it's because the hospital doesn't want to make anyone feel more stressed, especially the patients! Does anyone know the answer to this?
Years ago when I first started my nursing career, I shadowed the RRT at the hospital I worked at. Whenever a Code Blue was announced, we'd run to whichever room the patient was in and did what we could do to help... there were times when we were making a mad dash that I'd wonder... "What if something bad happened on the way there?" Even though the Code Blue announcement doesn't feel urgent, just hearing the words, "CODE BLUE" can spike your heart rate!
That's what this LEGO stop motion video is about. Just to be clear, this NEVER happened in my experience with Code Blue, and I hope it has never happened elsewhere. This stop motion video is just an idea that popped into my head.
I wasn't 100% happy with parts of this video. Some of the timing was off, and some of the stop motion was choppy (the hallway scene for one). I thoroughly enjoy making LEGO stop motion videos, so each one I make is hopefully an improvement. LEGO stop motion videos require a lot of patience (any stop motion animation requires that) and sometimes I don't have the right amount. Meeting deadlines and time constraints can cause a mild Code Blue...

Thank you! Most of my pieces came from various sets or the pick a brick wall at the LEGO store. I don’t own that many LEGO sets so I keep reusing the same stuff 😊👍.
