In this video i show you to make 12v battery powered dc air cooler. I have used 24 gauge sheet metal, 12v dc fan motor, fan, dc water pump, pvc pipe, honeycomb cooling pad, aluminium ventilator grill, 13 inch fan safety grill, on-off switch, speed regulator, zip tie, screws and pop rivets.

Very nice build of a swamp cooler. If you use it inside a room or inside of a house there will be a problem of high humidity, the best thing to do is set it outside of a window on a platform and ducted in through the window, sealed so air only comes through the opening from the fan. Then open up another window or opening in another room so that the cool air will circulate through. This will eliminate the humidity on a real hot day. I live in AZ and the temp gets up to and over 115 deg. F. days on end and at night time the temp stays up into the 80 s. Thank you nice video.

Yes, it would need cleaned out often! Then again, with no protection for the electronics, they'll short out and stop working long before that happens.

Kkkkkk fato d+, fora a vibração q uma hora vai fazer da caixa de lata uma escola de samba kkkkkk Por outro lado, com um pouquinho mais de esforço da pra solucionar a questão do ruído, trocar o ventilador por um comum, emborrachar toda junção de lata, e mergulhar o final das aletas na água... O problema real ali é q a água não se mantém fria em dias quentes, sendo necessário a troca ou a adição de gelo, ou até uma pastilha Peltier pra resfriar o conteúdo, eu já bolei um sistema parecido, da certo, fica bom, mas dá um trabalho...

Good project, but the lack of moister shielding - the water vapor will damage the motor, connectors, switches and electronics in short order. Most if not all evaporative coolers never have the electronics and motor in the direct path of the airflow.

@@johnjmacejak Not really The temperature will be about the dew point temperature and that temperature is depending on the relative humidity. So in a dessert with very low relative humidity, the temp will be much lower than in a humid tropical environment.
