I used sprockets, chain, worm wheel and worm shaft to increase the torque for this diy winch. I used worm wheel and worm shaft in this homemade drill winch to produce high amount of torque which is used to lift very heavy weights. This diy homemade winch machine may looks simple but it really performs very well. I personally enjoyed myself while making this diy winch build. This drill hack is my favourite.
