Thanks! I’ve been looking for an easy way to do small flock repairs on little bald spots. I (as well) prefer to keep as much original flock as possible as you mentioned.

Brother thank you for the tip, just bought 2 new heads from cotswold collectibles and when I was put in it on a brand new geyperman body y scraped a bit with my finger nail, I'm going to do this style of flock patching, thank you.

Useful tip. Where do you get your hair coloured flick from? Most I see are for grass etc! Cheers

You can ether make it yourself (it's easy enough) by trimming down some nylon fibers or your can get it ready made from most modellers shops, it's generally in the same section as the grass flock

Its not for me personally Damian, most toys i'm not bothered with condition and bits being fixed but when it comes to Action Man... I'm a perfectionist so i'd rather go for a full re-flock. Thanks for sharing though mate, its still interesting to watch and see how others go about collecting and all that comes with it!

The Gaming Toy Boy that's fine mate, not forcing anybody, just showing different methods of going about things. That video you did about splitting two EE heads to make one good one wasn't for me to be honest, found it rather extreme. I would much rather preserve the original and make the best out of two heads, thats what restoration is all about. Then again everybodies different and as long as your contented with the end outcome that's fine. My next flocking video will be on making from scratch a FLOCKULATOR 2 lol. And will be a total reflock, I'd also like to show people how to make their own flock which is cheap and effective. 😊

Damian jones Restoration is taking something thats broken or damaged in some way and making it like knew again, i would say you're thinking more on the lines of preservation or maybe customizing, which is perfectly acceptable and the head with 1 eye would certainly be good candidate for it but the video was just a demonstration of what you could do if you had 2 badly damaged heads, the other 2 heads i used in the video would normally be re-flocked, attached to a body and sold on but unfortunately i didn't have any other heads in unrepairable condition at the time so i had to make do. Typically not long after i did that video i got a head in a job lot with near perfect eyes but had had his nose cut off!
