I've been looking at drawstring bag tutorials for days. In some of my board games you need to draw something from a bag but the included bags were all fraying and terrible quality. All the other tutorials I watched were overtly complicated with very specific measurements. This is just *chef's kiss*. Your method of sewing both layers together and flipping it is something I had never seen before but I LOVE IT! I'm going to get a few nice fabrics and sew a bunch of these. Thanks SO SO MUCH! 🙏

Omg. A few videos in you've saved me tons of time. We retired a bit more rural in southern calif. I volunteered at small thrift her to get to know town and people. I realized eventually the town tshirts for events and tourist type ones would eventually get thrown away because people just don't wear certain ones. I bought them only $1. And made draw string back pack packs.nthey will buy as backpack. I never sold before living here. I dont use hardware or grommets. I leave a space at bottom corner to sew inside. I tried lining them but the old one step at a time method or like doing the inside out sausage casing just too tedious and noting where to leave drawstring holes is confusing. I'm trying this!

I too had been looking at lined drawstring bag tutorials to make a simple toiletry pouch for my daughter to take to work. I thought i had found the ideal instruction so i made it. Needless to say i wasnt happy about the bulk in the seam s especially at the bottom of the pouch, so i decided to go looking again. Up came this video and guess what.
