How to Make a Hanging Tea Towel. This tutorial is for an easy Beginner DIY sewing Project.
All you need is a tea towel or dish cloth and a bit of fabric to make a very simple and stylish hanging tea towel in just minutes.
I designed this without any buttons, snaps, ribbons , velcro, or having to gather any fabric.
You may have seen hanging dish towels that look like little dresses, but that really is not my style.
I wanted to design something that was simple and quick to make and that would work in any decor.
With this base pattern, you can use fancy fabric, embroider it, and even quilt it.
To make one, you only need half a tea towel,
Top piece cut 7" ( 17.8cm ) wide x 15" ( 38cm) long
Band cut 7.5" (19cm) wide x 8" (20.3cm) long
These are a really easy DIY project
