Here is my method for how to make a junk journal with multiple signatures! And shoutout to the sun for saying ☀️☀️☀️hello!!☀️☀️☀️halfway through this video lol.
You will need:
~ scrapbook paper or other thicker paper (e.g. cereal box cover)
~ assortment of papers (I use tea dyed paper, old book papers, packaging etc. Remember to make sure it's not too thin!)
~ thread
~ needle
~ clip to hold your papers in place
~ glue
~ tape
~ scissors

Just found out about junk journals today, watched this as part of my research on it. As someone who loves customization, upcycling, DIY crafts (or at least watching videos about it), this video was soothing, asmr-like, relaxing. As a book lover and lowkey hoarder who loves to preserve things in their original form, seeing all these old books and music sheets torn like that was anxiety inducing. Strange mixture of feelings to have at the same time, relaxed and anxious, lol! Anyway, while I won't be tearing up any books anytime soon, this tutorial was helpful and inspiring anyway, I learned some bookbinding from it and it might be a good way to deal with some of my old recyclables i haven't gotten rid of, or work on a language learning journal/moodboard combo :) Thanks for posting it!
