New Orleans native Charlie Andrews demonstrates on how to make a Homemade Key lime pound cake. This cake is made with real limes. It calls for 20 slices of cake depending on how you slice it, and it is delicious. Hope you all will give this classic cake a try.

I love the variety of great meals, but I made your Lime Pound Cake.....omg.. it was so beautiful, looked just like yours...until it didn't. IT FELL! I have never seen that before. I've heard of it but it never happen to me. WHAT DID I DO WRONG! I did open the oven door! I know you're not suppose to do that, but it was so brown, I thought I'd just touch the top to see if it was done. It had been in the oven about 45 minutes. I guess it wasn't done. Wow, is it a temperamental cake? Please, give me some advice Charlie. It tasted fantastic though. I hope you get this message soon because I wanted this cake for Christmas. This one won't make it...lol..

I say this in nearly all his videos, but I think it bears repeating: HIS KITCHEN IS IMMACULATE! I don't think people really appreciate how clean a cook's kitchen is, but I do. Use a garlic press on the limes. You get many times the amount of the juice from each lime and it’s so much faster and so much easier on your hands!

Omg !! I made my first cake from s starch by watching your videos , so far I’ve made your chocolate cake recipe and icing , pineapple cake , and last week I made your key lime cake recipe and everybody had a fit over your recipe. Charlieeeee...I bit my finger eating my key lime pound cake. I was shocked at how delicious and moist my cake turned out and I used a hand mixer. Charlie, thank you for saving me on my desert for this Thanksgiving but unfortunately it wasn’t enough for everyone 💔. My key lime pound cake came out so beautifully, thanks again Charlie I wish I can say more because it was the bomb!

I had never made a key lime cake before now. This cake is so delish, guess what, I made 2 one day apart. I have tried several of your recipes and have never been disappointed in the outcome. Hey, Charlie you really know how to bring life into everything you cook. I enjoy watching you over the years and your cooking videos get better than last time. Wow, this cake is so pretty it makes it hard to cut it and eat a slice. Wished that was my birthday cake my birthday was on Sept.9th and the local bakery not back open so, I had to settle for cake from grocery store. Not many choices at the grocery store.
