Hey Jeremy! These are the vids I like the most on your channel! Pitty you didn't do a voice-over telling us what kind of steel you used and what not. But dang, that's a really nice piece you conjured up there! Keep up the good work 👍 Greetz from the Netherlands PS. Just a while ago I got my Wicked Edge pro pack 2 delivered, and I'm super happy about it! What an absolute pleasure to work with🤘

Thanks for your time and content. I really dig the belly forward presentation of the edge a la kukri without the recurve. The sketch with the jimping forward of the spine hump looks like it would have been great. I have a Vox design knife with the feature and it is just right. Thanks again, cheers.

Hi Jeremy, may I ask a couple of questions, please? 1) which steel did you use? 2) which oil did you quench with? I mainly use 1080 and 01 and quench with warm vegetable oil, but have been advised that a faster oil, such as Parks 40 (AAA) would be better for these steels. Would appreciate your view. Great knife, by the way! Cheers 🙏🏻

Earlier today I watched you make The Chunky Monkey and I was curious about several things. You changed you platen when you got ready to finish the blade. The platen looked like Brass or bronze. What was it actually? Next, your fine grinding cycle. If I observed correctly you grind with 400 grit and 600 grit and then go to the cork belt with what I assume is green rouge. Is it green rouge and will the cork belt with it begin at a 600grit finish and take it down to being ready for the mirror polish. My experience is that it won't. Am I missing something here> and finally, thefelt belt with the metel polish and the 10" buffer wheel finalizes the mirroe finish with no visible scratches? I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions.
