When you previewed the finished piece at the beginning I thought there is no way you could show us how to make something so elaborate and detailed. But you did just that. I happily stand corrected. Such a beautiful creation.

Absolutely beautiful, Luise. Thank you for sharing us how you make a layered mixed media tag. Also thank you for your tip; I just learned to use a brayer to flatten the wet coffee paper stain before you dry it. For me, no more using iron or heavy books for coffee paper after drying for grungy vintage look. Your awesome!

I'm new to this junk journal thing, like just found out about it 3 weeks ago. At the beginning during your flipthrough, I thought there is no way I can do this as a newbie, i need more experience. At the end, I realized I can do it because you gave great instructions and said/listed everything you used. I don't copy people, but do see how I can incorporate your ideas and mix with my own. I appreciate you saying that in your video...use what you have and make it your own way. It's also really great to find someone's "style" that mirrors mine. I haven't found many that take grunge to the next level 😏 TFS! I'm off to binge watch your videos.

Have been junk journaling for just under a year, and I struggle with using distress oxides, paints and gesso to grunge up my projects. Luisa, this is SOOOOOO amazing! I am something of a newbie to junk journaling and am finding I gravitate to your style…. Every video I watch I learn several new tips. I also do not have “everything that Tim Holtz sells”, so I have to adapt to try to do what you do with the tools and products I have in my stash!! This is wonderful. You have inspired me to make one of my own. I have so many small tags which I thought I would never use. Well I used quite a few in this. I also learned about speckling. It gives a lift and life to what could be a lifeless piece (not that that could ever be a lifeless piece). Thanks for teaching me about that. It actually was quite a learning journey and took a long time to complete (as I HAD to have the butterflies and they took some time to get), ❤️
