I use this strategy and your 5 min opening range strategy daily! I use this high/low strategy when I don't like the opening range price action. still working on being consistent and not over trading, but this is keeping me profitable. thank you for the knowledge. working on this being my retirement plan!!! keep up the great work/videos brother. @kaz995310 ай бұрын
I can't remember, but basically you mark high and low of first 5 min candle of open. then you enter on break or retest of high or low level. just like the premarket high/low Strat, but off of 5 min opening range. @@CQTrades

Just remember, what works today may not work tomorrow. I’ve noticed generally whatever you’re doing will work for 2 or 3 days, then not work for 2 or 3 days. But don’t scrap the strategy because then it will start working again. Sometimes it may go through a whole month of suck before it comes around again. I believe you have to develop specific strategies for specific situations. If you’re scalping you may have to scale back to longer term trades. Maybe inside bars were working, now engulfing bars are working. Then you have to learn how to recognize what kind of action is happening so you can implement the correct strategy for that action. Don’t get to comfortable in one place, it’s always changing. I saw an interesting comment in a chat the other day, they said: “When in doubt, zoom out” I try not to stare at live charts for more than 30 minutes at a time. Get up, get out, smoke a cigarette, take a walk. If you stare to long you’ll go blind, or worse than that, you’ll see things that aren’t there. Then there’s this upcoming week, a holiday. Is it going to be a low volume everyone’s on vacation week? A profit taking off a bullish run week? A load up for the end of the year week?Who knows, you’ll hear predictions with certainty in every direction, but you won’t know till the s*** hits the fan. I don’t know what to expect so I’m not expecting anything.

I really like the 5-min MOS and Pre-mkt Strategy, which is simple and effective. I appreciate you showing the wins and losses, further cementing the notion that no trade strategy is a 100% win. Frankly, with SPY being choppy, sideways, and lack of momentum these days, I tend to move my stop loss closer to my profit target to protect whatever gains I've made. Personally, I'm still working on the confidence to keep holding and allow the trade to play out. I'm only 6 months into trading, so that'll come with time. Thanks again for your videos, they are great!

Hi Sir, thank you for all you videos and detailed explanation. Could you make a video on how do you execute your trade in the trading platform? And how do you calculate how many contract to enter and risk based on the stop loss? Do you have a spreadsheet to plug in the enter and exit price? then calculate the amount of contract to enter? This strategy is in minutes. I wonder how fast do you calculate and enter and exit.

I started using this the last time you posted about it and it has really helped. When I don't take it and it works out... I get so angry at myself. Can you give any color to what you are trading? Regular calls / puts? Spreads? How far out on expiry?
@hryvns7 ай бұрын
Is this options trading or are you using a CFD broker? if it's options then it's not really true when it comes to the risk/rewards you are placing on the charts (when you factor in the various extra things that go into options trading like the diminishing value of the contract...) it would be good to clarify this.

@ Scarface Trades, I really appreciate your videos. I am completely new to trading and over the past few weeks I have seen a lot of "How-To" content on YT. However, your teaching method and delivery really suits my learning style. I feel I can and will learn a lot from you on my journey to profitable investing. My question though, is what type of trading is this that only requires $100.00? Is this options trading? Or can I eventually open an account with a broker and actually start trading the style of trading shown in this video (and some of your videos) with just a few hundred dollars in my account? I hope you or someone/anyone else on this tread can answer this question for me. Thank you!

Thanks for this video!! I wonder, do you take the peak at 8 o'clock in the morning into account to set the pre market levels or not? And which shares can you recommend for a small account for people who cannot take 500 Tesla shares? I would like to see your channel grow in the future , this is a joy to watch!
@bobbiejean680810 ай бұрын
I know I'm not the author of this video but, to answer your question, options are a great instrument to trade with a small account. Look for options with a delta of .70 or better (the closer to 1.00, the closer it's value follows the price movement of the underlying stock). Trade options just like the stock [with the added benefit of leverage built right in without necessarily having to use margin (you CAN use margin but it adds a whole 'nother level of risk so, I don't recommend it)]. I find the options that fit my budget (for lack of a better word) and fit the criteria of .70 or better delta are zero day expiration options (in other words, options that will expire at the closing bell the same day) and in the money. BUT BE WARNED: You absolutely MUST exit the position before the closing bell! (Otherwise you risk having your option automatically exercised which turns a small money position into a VERY BIG money position.) With all that said: If you're new to options: Call(s) = long position Put(s) = short position Pick the appropriate position (calls for a long position and puts for a short position) that fit the above requirements and you too can trade tesla (or any other expensive stock that you like).
