In this tutorial, I'll show you how to make a logo in Affinity Designer. We will use Shape Tools, the Pen Tool, and Text on a Path to create a beautiful cactus logo. :)

Thanks for this great lesson. Quick question - do you use a mouse for your work, or a Wacom or other type of drawing tablet/pen tool?

I typically use my laptop's trackpad, but I'll pull out my Wacom tablet if I'm doing a lot of painting. 🙂

4:16 I just can't seem to get these auto align guides to appear - I've tried everything lol . I'm very new to Affinity - I'm using Affinity Photo latest version on latest Mac OS Ventura. Would you be as kind to advise me on how to make them appear please. I simply want to select something and have them appear as to confirm I am indeed in the centre of the document (using the move tool). I can of course use the align tools in the menu bar but I would prefer to be able to do it as you did here which looks so simple and indeed it is a simple thing but I can not work out how to get these momentary guides to appear. Ty _________ Edit: I got it to work !!!-) I guess it's on by default, I must have messed it up sometime ago. One needs to go to the snapping icon and set 'candidates' to 'immediate layers and children' I so enjoy your videos. Thank you so much for sharing

Hello, How can I export a logo in jpg 300dpi cmyk for impresion and jpg 72 dpi rgb for social media. I have to export a few logo variation for web and impresion.
