I walked away in 2020, I blocked him on all social media, phones and I haven’t talked to him since. I can see I did everything wrong in my last relationship. I would always respond to his texts within about 30 min. Sometimes he wouldn’t even apologize, he would act as if nothing had happened and I would not call him on it. My father used to leave and we wouldn’t see him for 18 to 36 months, he would show up and behave as if we were just talking yesterday and nothing had happened. I realize that my fear of abandonment has caused me to allow men to mistreat me. I’m not allowing that anymore. Thank you Mr. Gaskins.
