For some reason its not letting me open the file using powershell it just opens it with notepad and ive tried everything and nothing works. im on windows 11 btw

In the powershell after i had to agree it said press any key to continue and then it closed how can i fix that? And it downloaded a Jar file

So I had Java version 20 installed, so I deleted it and installed 17. Now, when I run the Start with powershell it tells me to press any button to continue, and when I do it closes the progam. I made sure the fabric-server-launcher is opening with the current Java 17. Any other ideas?

Also if you are having problems that say connection closed changed the server address to ipv4 and :25565 and that is the fix

When I press start with PowerShell, it opens and immediately closes within the next half second. Don't know why

Join my discord so I can help you make one for free, even though the server host I advertise works for some reason they have not paid me in 3 months which is really hurting me so I might switch hosts soon. Of course u can still use them however I can also help you fix your server for free.

They need to buy minecraft. Or you can allow non-minecraft-having-noobs by going into the server properties file and changing online-mode to false.

Important for Windows 11 users - if you run the Powershell file, and it immediately closes, view the README file for a fix. You'll see it in there. :)

another note- make sure to unblock the file in properties- thats what fucked me up, powershell didnt run the file due to it being digitally unassigned

This means the server is taking too long to think. Could need more ram or your pc could need other upgrades such as cpu.

@@lettuceman1999 not at the same time and you'd need to transfer the server files after first saving on the pc that was hosting first. Then saving on the other pc and transferring all the files again.
