Came here from the DorianGrou82 live stream the other night. Great stuff man! I find the leads with the bells track out of the box on the Qubit Surface Eurorack module and will use that as the counter melody sometimes too. Lots of great mallet, bell, and chime sounds integrated in that module!

A quicker way, as advice, instead of creating/duplicating ultrabeat instances is crate your drum loop and then right click on the midi region and select midi then select Separate by Note Pitch and it will split each sound on it it's own track and you'll save some CPU usage and you can create your drums even faster.

I've had Logic for about 2 years now and have made little to no progress on getting better. I finally decided to sit down and dedicate time to bettering myself and this is the first video I chose to watch. I just want to say how unbelievably CLUTCH this tutorial is. The Metro kit in the download link has just about every sound you could possibly need.I do have one question (though I'm sure it"s simple and I'll be able to figure it out after watching more vids); how do you load sounds into the exs24 so I can change the pitch of each note for hihat rolls, 808s, etc.? Any help from anyone would be much appreciated. You just got another subscriber CJ!
