How to Make a Mini Album Cover Using the Easy Cover Lay Flat Method Beginning Mini Album Tutorial

2 жыл бұрынThis is the method that Tamra Kilgore-Merrill of Country Craft Creations developed. I suggest that you try it to see if it will work for you!
This is especially great if you use the Artisan cardstock available from Country Craft Creations:www.countrycraftcreations.com...
The formula for the cardstock size is add one inch to all sides, if you are making a 4X6 mini album, you will need (2) 4X6 chipboard pieces and (2) 6X8 cardstock to cover.
For the spine, you add 1 1/2 for each side, total 3 inches, and one inch for the top and the bottom.. So if your spine is 2X6, the cardstock needs to be 5X8.

It is nice to have a different option to cover a mini album. This is a cleaner look, so it will work for some applications. It is worth a try anyhow!

I prefer the lay flat method to taping two sheets together and wrapping in one piece. I think it looks a whole lot better. Thank you

Very easy to follow, I will give this a try. Seems like it may take longer than the other way??? I like that the corners are covered perfectly. Thanks for the measurements you listed, thanks for sharing!

Yes, it does take a bit longer. Not much, but some. But it does have a cleaner look and I like to have options! Oh, and depending on the paper you use, you could just cover with the pattern paper and so there you skip a step-now you don't have to add pattern paper to decorate. I've tried it with the Country Craft Creations new paper lines and it worked beautifully. You can even make the hinge with it.
