Ingredients
Polyglyceryl 4 Oleate (naturally derived emulsifier) - 15%
Jojoba oil - 35%
Camellia Oleifera oil - 30%
Strawberry seed oil - 15%
Castor oil - 3.5%
Tocopherol - 0.30%
Bergamot essential oil - 0.60%
Lavender essential oil - 0.40%
Clary sage essential oil - 0.20%
In this formula, the most important ingredient is Polyglyceryl 4 Oleate. This particular component will help emulsify the oils when in contact with water, in other words as you wash the cleansing oil off, the water will loosen the oils and the grime with it. The oil will turn into a milky consistency. Its tradename is Durosoft PG4O but, as always, you may find it easier to look for it using its INCI name.

Love it. I bet this feels great on the face. love that naturally-derived emulsifier and the strawberry oil! not an easy ingredient to come across - im guessing you folks have a nice pantry of ingredients by now, hehe. thanks for sharing the actual formula, nicely done.

If I use peg40 the ratio will remain the same as poly glyceryl oleate 4

you should not use foaming face wash not good for your skin

I don t have strawberry oil, can i change it by another ingrédient and what is it please ?

Yes, definitely. We always encourage our students to experiment with a wide range of ingredients so that you can gain more experience with them. There are so many beautiful oils to choose from so feel free to try any carrier oils that you'd like to. Just make sure you write out your formula, method and observations to refer back to. :)

Hi Lubna, it can be yes... it depends on the type you use as there is more than one type tocopherol and can be made from a number of sources such as Wheatgerm, sunflower (mainly a-tocopherol) or canola or soyboean (y-tocopherol) and there are many others too. Many are quite thin and not sticky but increased strength ones can be sticky and I think it depends on the course (from personal experience although it may not be generic... wheatgerm is thinner, canola is thicker) :)

what is the purpose of the emulsifier with an anhydrous product?

it allows it to emulsify in contact with water, and it turns to a lotion consistency - and then can be washed off with greater ease than a traditional anhydrous product without an emulsifier. hope that helps.
