Lexan plastic is virtually indestructible cheap and easy to cut.

Looks like polypropylene. That's a good thickness for the job but PP is terrible for shattering, and will probably degrade in sunlight or general UV exposure. I made one almost identical to yours, but I used a "flexible cutting board" that came in a set of 4 from the kitchens shop. Its a bit too flexible so I had to make some modifications to it but im happy with the results now. That stuff is indestructable. General tip for testing if a plastic type is brittle; grab a corner of it with pliers and bend it very sharply and quickly way past 90 degrees. Brittle plastic will shatter, medium plastic will maybe get a tear, and good plastic will just get a white crease and you can bend it many times. Cool vid! 🙂

Thanks for that idea!! I just got myself an XR with flight fins included with a black fender and have white rails but think that plastic lid type colour will look much cooler so I will knock one up. Also need to find an idea for extenders because I have been used to the wide stance and did not have the extenders with it so not tried yet.
