“When” = 💡that was the single biggest tip. No one talks about when the release happens like you do. I’m a handle dragger and now I’m fixed. Of the hundreds or maybe a thousand videos, this one fixed a major swing flaw. 🙏

I love isolating the wrist release -- David Duval did this isolated club throw in an old Golf Channel video driving range interview with Charlie Rymer. And the images of that made so much sense -- as do your depictions here

Just watched the "David Duval Describing the Austin No Face Rotation Release" and "David Duval with the Throw Release RIT Drill". It looks exactly what Steve is doing here and talking about in his videos.

This works and guaranteed to eliminate your slice. I stumbled upon this release when I started flushing balls one day. And I just took note of those good swings. I noticed that when I released my hands (or flicked my wrist) I hit the drive and irons far and straight every time. I play with vintage Tour Model blades so I have to make perfect contact every time. Such a great video to confirm everything that I was feeling that day. Thanks

Okay that's good to know but it helped me stop slicing so much but I'm going to try your 3-step driving rotation. The flipping motion. Excited to try it as soon as I get home.

Steve another great video. Can you do another one on this with a front view and slow motion to see what your hands are doing? These last few videos on this and the hand path are so important in picking up easy speed. Love this series. After practicing this move, I feel like I am pulling with my lower hand while my upper hand pushes and eventually this unit ends up with my top hand palm down and bottom hand palm up after impact. Is this correct? Steve I just watched the David Duval videos on the Austin release and he describes what you have been talking about all along. The "David Duval Describing the Austin No Face Rotation Release". I got it now..

Can I get a good isolated wrist release drill or two? My mistake is flipping and having driver toe down after impact.

Is this the same release used for irons, fairway woods, hybrids ?

Yes. Try it. The only difference is that with your irons you're swinging down versus around and up on your drive. Your natural swing pattern is different on irons, but the release will always be there. The release is what generates the club head speed, which is most important on the drives.

Not what I prefer although some tour players do it...so not a deal breaker.
