This is the clearest demo for this tool that I have seen. I started using it and somewhere I cut wrong and could not figure out what I did wrong. Now, I can intelligently use this ruler. Thank you so much!

There were so many more steps you could have shown.. like what size to cut the pieces of fabric for the rounds or using the longer strips of fabric, sewing them on and then cutting them..

this is exactly how I feel, my goodness, half of your fabric is going to be wasted. I prefer to use the paperpiece method with strips in difference sizes.
