Great instruction. I can see how you put the ruler on the block and cut. Other instructions don't explain that fully and up until now I never used the tool. Thanks. Unfortunately, I cannot get into your blog. URL not found.

I’m just getting started with this ruler.....so I need my logs trimmed to the required lengths before I add them to their round? Otherwise I need to trim each length before adding the next log.

I just found your channel and brand new at quilting. I really want to try this and just got the ruler, but my newbie question is...can you tell me what the dimensions of each of those strips are so that I know what size I need to cut? I am a bit confused

On the paper instructions it will tell you depending on what style block you want to make, traditional log cabin or court house steps. www.creativegridsusa.com/products/CGRJAW1

Sheri, I recently purchased the log cabin ruler. I’ve watched the video and wonder if I can still use the ruler even though my strips are not all the same size. I was hoping to make this scrappy to use up strips in various sizes. Any assistance would be helpful.

You know what will be fun is that you place your special ruler on a white peace of paper and stop to move but show us where is the center. I don’t see it!
