whats the point of pitch shifting it when you could just play the pitch? Was it because those certain notes up top had characteristics you wanted to keep but just needed it to get into key

very good question, when I tried to play the 808 an octave lower it was hardly noticeable, the pitch shift allowed me to play the sample in a lower octave and still be able to hear it.

Yeah man. I got you on the quick tips. Sorry if tell you shit you already know. 1. Run the bpm counter on your sample first. 2. use the true bpm of the track for the beat that you want. 4. Slice however you want to get your loop. 5. now if you want it faster or slower, You can use the Flex Pitch, theres like five flex joints. use the speed one. That should make using loops a bit easier. Also use the fade tool, to remove any fades and pops. 6. Upload and make this money fam.
