I just decided to check out what pocket letters were!!! I cannot get enough of these now!!! They are absolutely adorable, I remember getting a pen pal in school and we would send stickers back and forth. I wish we knew about this back than. How fun!

Very vintage.shabby chic and gorgeous. Gave me some ideas as to what to do for my 89 year old deceased mil. album.. While having her estate sale a man walked up and gave them. They were in something in the garage for sale. A young man in WW2 In 43 had written her for several months years and she had him. So sweet! Wanting to get all the right paper . Thank you. You inspired me!

I’ve been subscribed to you for a couple of months now and just love your videos. I only just discovered this video after you mentioned pocket letters on one of your shop with me videos. Many years ago when my boys were little I was very fond of crafts (card making and a wee bit of scrapbooking). I hadn’t ever heard of pocket letters what a cute wee idea. Modern pen pals with a crafty twist. I really want to get into this but I’ve no idea how to. Tips would be very very welcome.

I love your opening scene with the river and the steeples - reminds me of the Regency period in England! Also your video filter (if you used one), the colour scheme of your pocket letter, and the tone of your voice was so calm and soothing. You should look into doing ASMR pocket letters! TFS creative lady! ✨

This is too cute. I need to get into pocket letters. What was the white ink pad you used to adhere the glitter? Was it regular ink pad or specific to be able to adhere glitter?

+BeautyPaintBox I am glad this video inspired you to create a Pocket Letter, they are so fun and relaxing to make. I used the Recollection Glue pad set to ink the stamp and than applied the glitter to the glue print :) I hope this helps. I would love to see your finished product! Thank you...haha cute nickname. I am glad you enjoyed watching this pocket letter tutorial. I will be honest - I have only been making Pocket Letters for about a year. This is my 6th PL, so not very long compared to some ladies out there! I have purchased the Pockets from Dollarama and Staples, and I find the plastic to be a little better quality from Staples. However, they both work very well :) Do you make Pocket Letters? If you have instagram I would love to see your creations (you can tag me #classycraftingparcels) if you make one :)

Yes, $1 for 8 Pocket Page Protectors is not too bad from Dollarama. I have seen some ladies recently haul them for $1.25 so they may have gone up in price over the last month. +francine cruz I find them very relaxing to make. They are a fun way to exchange penpal/happy mail with other crafters or those who enjoy paper crafting. You fill the little back pockets with craft goodies so your buddy can use in future crafting needs ✨ I hope this helps clarify what they are :)

I've always loved putting pen to paper(writing letters) it is a dying art. Pocket letters throughout history were also called "care packages, Love packages, special delivery, pin pal, secret pal Etc." What ever you call it, it just a good time for all parties, that's when it's the best. It doesn't matter what's in the pocket, it's the love you feel from receiving! I love being the pocket letter maker and I enjoy being the recipient also. This is a beautiful pocket letter. Even inking the papers edges feel special. Pocket Letters👍💜👍
