The eye bolts mounted to the trees need to be much larger and longer if you expect them to stay for any length of time. I think you should have bolted a treated 4x4 across the opening with arborist bolts then mounted the eye bolts to the 4x4 ( eye bolts long enough to go completely through the 4x4 so a nut and large washer set could be used)

A trend I've noticed as of late is how much creators are trying to preemptively comment on the eventual comment section criticisms. Seems to be happening across a lot of woodworking/maker channels lately and it's a bummer. I guess when you deal with so many armchair quarterbacks, you eventually cave to them. Anyways, great work on the project, guys! The cedar and blue compliment each other well.

One thing to note regarding the eye bolt ratings; the ratings are based on a load in line with the bolt itself. The farther away from that line you get, the more de-rated the bolts become. That 1200lb rating, as a side load like that, is significantly less than 1200 lbs. For example, a 3/8" eye bolt rated at 1400lb in a straight pull is only rated at 350lb at 45 degrees. Will they hold? Probably. Will they eventually fail? Probably.
