I believe your video is the only one on youtube that clearly explains this process by an english speaker. Good Job,

Thank you so much for mentioning where you bought the chain end-tab die cutter! I have been looking for somewhere to buy one of those die cutters for a long time with no luck, even considered contracting it out to a machine shop or buying a mill and making one myself. I contacted Dynamis Jewelry about his probably three years ago and he told me his came from the Ukraine and was no longer available. Placed an order for mine today and I’m super excited, waiting 3-4 weeks for it to arrive from India pales in comparison to how long I’ve been looking for one so thanks again 🙏

No problem! I had a tough time finding it as well. I posted it on reddit and someone helped me find it. It works really well.

17:30 when your trying to line it up if you have access to a laser and can tack it together then flow solder for all the joints it will definitely take less finagling.

I was wondering what my old coworker Cody Dagutis was up to today so I did a Google search which brought me here, to his KZfaq channel. I see you are making the transition from the sales floor to the jewelers bench, seems like a natural progression. This is excellent content, I'm glad to see you moving in this direction, I can't wait to see what you do next. Best of luck - MH

Maybe you've figured it out since you made this, but to keep it in alignment while soldering, there's something welders use called "tack welds" to hold several pieces together to make sure it's all squared properly before making all the welds. If you just solder in the middle and at the ends, then your entire piece should remain in alignment. You could call it "tack soldering" I suppose.

I plan on trying that next time I make one. I didn't have regular access to a welder when I made this. Now I do

🤩 I just ran into this video. Thanks for sharing. Been watching change making videos since forever and this is the first time I ran into someone that’s speaking English that’s making this bracelet. I have a question ? when you put the two bracelets together can’t you hold it with crazy glue I’ve seen someone use this technique on silver and then they just burn it off after sold during. ☺️ excellent video. Thanks again for sharing subscribed👏👏👏🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟😁

Started teaching myself about 2 years ago just consuming as much KZfaq content as possible on it. Just recently began a part time apprenticeship at the store I work at. I wouldn't have been able to do anything if it weren't for other KZfaq creators sharing what they know. Just paying it forward 😁

@codydagutis66392 жыл бұрын
If it's what I'm using to hold it down while I file and send that is a wax casting sprue. Didn't have anything else to use. It worked pretty well 🙂

How do you get the wire to rip through the size block like spaghetti? Is there some lube I should be using? Is mine tougher because my block is brand new? Can you actually run through 4 sizes between annealing? Sorry last question; Is your silver some magical secret elastic alloy mix, 925 is partially copper is that what I'm missing?? I'm brand new learning and any help would be sincerely appreciated.
@codydagutis6639 Жыл бұрын
I've started using just regular shop oil. I used to use wax but 3 in 1 shop oil works really well. Do you quench when you anneal or do you let it cool slow?
@chrisgregory670 Жыл бұрын
