How to make Router Flattening Jig | Woodworking DIY Router sled mounted in a Torsion Box

Thanks Ritchie! It’s definitely versatile for so not much money. Can double as your planer and jointer if you don’t have one and it’ll cost a lot less!

Sweet setup. I’ve seen some folks putting in dog holes in to the table for hold downs options. I’m making a poor man version first before buying the rails 😂.

I thought of doing the dog holes or even installing t-track if I used 3/4” for the top but in the end I decided to just use double sticky tape. That worked amazing, I should’ve shown it on video. Maybe I’ll do the dog holes for weight saving. This thing is fairly heavy 😂 Thanks Paul!

Nice man! I really need to upgrade my flattening jig! Yours is slick and not very $$. I like pairing it with a torsion top!

Thanks Scott! Super smooth with these rails and they don’t like the diy plywood ones for sure. And having it portable on a torsion box keeps my shop cleaner 😂

@@TriadoMax That’s what I did. It’s been private overnight. Checked it multiple times this morning before hitting publish and checked it publishing it was there. Maybe it was a weird glitch. Just did a temp one and will fix it at home later.
