You must have incredibly strong hands to do that with a drill press at 1:13 with no clamp or fence. I did that once with a forstner bit and it about took my life and the walls around me. Very cool video as well...good job.

An excellent and useful tool. My personal preference would be to use a knob rather than a thumbscrew -- arthritis in the hands is no fun -- but this is simply a matter of preference. Excellent video. Thank you!

Please don't hand hold solid oak especially with boring with a big forstner bit like that my buddy got his knuckle cut clean through doing that exact same thing

good work. I did something similar, but with a couple of useful differences. 1 - I filed a notch in the eyebolt to catch the corner of the bit. 2 - I used a standard 12mm shaft collar with a setscrew from the hardware store. it has a round hole, but that is not a problem.

Inspiration is this man's middle name. A master at a wonderful art...

+1, I was thinking to make hand router plane to make circle for my grinder, I am not sure if this would be perfect to rotate in high speed, I make one with belt sender but is not so perfect, still need some polish

Nice work, did you make a video creating the miter jig for your table saw sled? Or do you have plans available? Miters are a nightmare for me and that jig looks like it makes perfect 45 miters. Thanks for sharing.

I take it that precision is not an issue. When you were drilling the hole, the wood was moving quite a bit.
