I did buy one in a store Menards for 27 dollars and was disappointed .so I did buy one for 12 dollars and it’s ok because what I need to do wasn’t worth the 27 dollars.

I've built cabinets for 30 years plus. Integrated toe kicks are not the way to go. Loose toe kicks are easier to level, and you get better yield out of your 4X8 material. Then you plop a square box on top of it

this whole video is not much use. We saw how you drilled holes and routed some slots and glued some pieces together, all userless as to how the layout was done or how the jig was used to obtain the final result. The jig may be verry good but I for one learned nothing about how this jig was made. Perhaps that was the purpose of watching 18 minutes of video

@YoungJe12 күн бұрын

Haven't written or spoken Korean since 1968 so I missed the name of this piece. Well done. Really complicated ends to that top. Not sure about the added performance to work ratio here. But the work of a master instead of a novice, of course.

Young Je.Nice jig upgrade! Along with your new router jig (The Joung Je Domino) you will be makeing all kinds of tendons! Don’t forget you can reply in korean if you want and my wife will translate fr me. She may not know what us woodworkers are talking about but you and I will.

I build and sand the stuff we ,ake for out house. My wonderful wife does most of the finishing. Like you , we also use minwax poly but we usually wipe it on with a piece of cloth. No we don't use the wipe on poly. Usually 3 or more coats with (with light sanding in between of course). It does take a long time to dry each time but the hard finish is worth it. Are you still spending a lot of ti,e with the Grandkids? I am!

Young Je, Good to see you back. Thanks for the video of the excellent and masterful build of this little Korean table. Makes me think of the little Mother of Pearl ones I saw and used so many times in Korea. Are You going to do some mother of pearl now? …haha. You and I built our own routher table and jig but we still have'nt made any sawdust collection for them,,,haha! I really like the way you put the curve in the sides of that top!! I’m gonna do that now that you showed me a different way of how to do it! I don’t think I will make the metal table top hold down brackets myself though. Take care my friend!
