Nevermind the soldering iron, the contacts weren't clean so that's why the blob formed instead of it being one with both the copper and the pin. This was a bad soldering job, just to be clear

Do you connect Lipo 7.4V to MEGA's input VIN? Looking at the circuit diagram , 5V of the MPU-6050 and VIN are connected. but whre is 5V supplied from the regulator. even though there is no regulator ?

There seems to be an error here. Mega Vin of 7.4 v must be connected. A separate 5v regulated power supply preferably using 7805 needs to be added. This 5v rail can give supply to MPU Chip, Logic side of motor driver and bluetooth.

I made the entire setup but one motor is not working. LED is continuously red on one of the non-working encoder motors. I swapped the motors and the same issue was replicated. Do you know what is the issue?.....Thanks
