How to Make a Simple Two Way Intercom Circuit

In this circuit we are going to build a very Simple Intercom project using which you can communicate two ways locally within your house or school. This project brings in the childhood memory of using matchboxes with thread to build a simple telephone. So now let’s take it to the next level by building an electronic circuit (amplifier) to transmit voice from one end to another end.
Below are the components used in this project:

In this circuit board there is only one access point which is SPDT switch,can you make 2 way controlled intercom circuit?

I can't seem to find a 0.1uF capacitor here in my place. Is there any alternative to this? Thank you.

The power supply is not shown. Can you make it without the mics? Upon switching, the speaker becomes the mic on either end. I had a board that used only speakers that also used as mics when switched. Don't know what change to the circuits needed to accomplish this.

I just followed your diagram but, is the audio supposed to be heard from both speakers? I can switch microphones but all speakers always active. Ty!

diagram is not the same with the connection he have shown in the video :) better find the audio amp's Data sheet and know the connections yourself :)

It's just a college circuit, it can be messy, it can be bad, but if it works the student is happy. Ofc if you want to sell it then it's obviously a crap, manage of +/- is so unclear also the amp is not good, but it's not the point of this video
