Episode 207 part 2 - How to make wooden legs cut at an angle - Rustic table made of wide oak facets /
We finish gluing the tops on a Steblo pneumatic press. I will be doing straightening and grinding on a wide-belt sander outside the workshop, so I will cut the material with legs. On a K690s circular saw I edge and cut oak facets. I take the cut material to the ad741 planer and align two planes. Then I plan the other two to the appropriate thickness on a felder thicknesser. On a sizing saw, I set a gearbox perpendicular to an angle of 45 degrees and cut the material using a 72-tooth silient power cutting disc. With the Domino Df500 Festool router, I cut holes for domino pins. I smear the jams and pins with kleiberit 303.2 glue and squeeze the whole thing with wolfcraft clamps. After gluing, I remove the glue with a chisel and grind. The legs will be connected to the table top with metal sheets. I connect the plate to the legs with a muff and a screw.
