2:05 tip: If you want a safer option for this bit, you can wrap the wool around a strong book, or something shaped like it and really hard. Then it Weil be so much easier and safer!

I’m so glad my tail looks like yours I was wondering was it too curly And I thought I was getting a lot of excess fluff coming off when I brushed… but that’s normal immune won’t be skinny

This is the best tut! Simple and clear instructions, easy to understand! TYSM! I had to make a tail for my school play and this helps a lot! Question: does using a normal brush work?

Tysmm 😭😭❤️ For the normal brush, like a hair brush I really would not recommend using as it takes A LOT longer and it's super hard to separate the wool, using a fine comb/ metal comb might work a lil better ^^

What are you using to brush it out? And you do want to check whether you can brush it most of her time If the wool is coiled then uncoil it and try brushing :3

TYYYY! basically you only make 2 strings! But ONE of the strings is twice as long as the other, and you fold it in half and it's like 3 strings the same length ( I'm so sorry I'm terrible at explaining stuff 😭😭🙏 )

I made one and accidentally wore it around my 13 y/o brother and he was like, "furry!!!!!" It's kind of funny. I hope my parents don't see my gear heh. Thanks for the tut though! my tail looks awesome! It isn't the color I want it to be, but I don't want to buy more yarn. Maybe I should... I have a crochet obsession, so I had chonky yarn on hand.

Hii new therian here! For a pointy kinda end (like here) do you just cur the end strands shorter? Does it matter which yarn I use and when cleaning the tail, should I brush it with the pet brush or a normal brush? Is there a point (and if yes, when) where I should stop brushing it out? Sorry for all the questions :// I just dont want to fail lol Thanks in advance and for this superb tut! High five

Failing is all part of the process sometimes!! ❤️ So sorry I didn't respond sooner 😭 If you want a pointy end trimming it would work but most of the time it ends up being pointy anyways ^^ For cleaning it, a cat brush works best to get all of the leaves or other things out ^^ But a normal brush can work if there's not too much in there ! And a normal brush can also just help to smooth it down a bit more if it's been ruffled up :D !!! I don't think there's a point where you should stop brushing it! I'll let you know if I find a problem ❤️❤️❤️

@@ForestFallz I used nylon cord instead of yarn, so a regular know was fine, since they’re really strong, then it’s also easy to put on the clip

Guys ı don't have yarn brush. Idk can ı use normal hairbrush or thootbrush. I bursh one string really ıdk (ıts normal small yarn ı have) I think I won't be able to

You shouldn't use a normal hair brush unless it's a fine comb / other like that 😭

This one in the video is 24 inches! The ones I use most frequently are around 26-27 inches!

Just one small question With the wool tails, when brushing is it normal for some strands of wool to completely come out? I always get worried that im ruining it when that happens

I think so, it happened with my thinner tails and a LOT of access wool comes out and looks like the whole strand falls off- if it 100% falls off then no, try to tie it on a bit tighter ^^
