You are crazy talented! I am basically a tech-idiot. Don’t understand any of it but I love your step by step teaching style. I looked up the price of this damn machine tho and gaaaaah-dam! It’s an investment for sure! I bake cakes but I may just continue to purchase my toppers from others lol

You can search this laser cut and engrave machine TTS-55. Its not as expensive as the others and it will do justice to your toppers. Im also learning my ways how to make some layout. :) Good luck to us! :)

I use the recommended setting that comes with the proofgrade acrylics. For the mirror acrylic I use 160/100.

I use for Mac, but I did use coreldraw on PC. No real difference but I like how it looks on Mac. I'm also a APPLE fanboy 🤦🏾‍♂️

Troy--great stuff as always. Question: What settings do you use for 1/8 acrylic? Do you mask the acrylic? I've made a few of acrylic projects and the cuts always come out bubbled and scored around the edges. Thank you for your great channel!

Are you using cast acrylic or extruded acrylic? I didn't realize there was a difference and bought some less expensive extruded acrylic at Home Depot. It didn't work very well - kind of melted where the cuts were.

Yes, I blend it with the bottom part to make it stronger so it will not break. I have glued a small piece of clear acrylic in between the top and bottom part of an i but that was a headache and the customer wanted it separated and paid extra.

Why do you laser cut the acrylic sheet with the paper attached to it? Can't you do it without it?

Yeah you can but without the paper the cutting will leave residue.

I would use the combine tool and virtual erase tool. Maybe put a triangle upside down and combine them and if it is a line in between erase it. Hope this helps.
