This dish is a 'slow to cook food' but easy to make, and this is one of the best dishes I've learned in Japan, so I want to share it to you. #porkrecipe #porkbelly #slowtocookfood #角煮 #howtocookporkbelly
For this recipe, you need:
1 kilo of pork belly block
2 spring onion
20 grams of ginger (* if you like ginger,you can put 10 grams more)
3 tablespoons of brown sugar
50 ml of sake
50 ml of Japanese soy sauce
2 sachet of dashi powder
*Cooking tips;
- Make sure you fry both sides of the meat before adding the ingredients.
- Flip the meat from time to time ( also the eggs)
- simmer in low heat
** In the video, I said that you can store this for 2 days, but if you only cook the meat without the eggs- you can store it longer.
-You can eat it with udon or ramen, but I prefer it with ramen.
