Majkl shows us in this video how to prepare paratha, a flatbread that originated in the Indian subcontinent. The most common stuffing for parathas is mashed, spiced potatoes (aloo paratha). The recipe is very simple, just follow the instructions in the video.
Ingredients for 4 parathas:
250 g flour
180 ml warm water
2 table spoons of sunflower oil (or ghi)
1/2 teaspoon of salt
Plan for 1 paratha about 110 grams
Filling:
4 boiled potatoes
250 g of grated cheese
3 green onions
1 clove of garlic
1 tablespoon of grated ginger
1 teaspoon of garam masala
1 teaspoon of ground cumin
1 teaspoon of curcuma
1/4 teaspoon of ground pepper
salt to taste
Green chutney ingredients:
4 tablespoons of white yogurt
1 bunch of cilantro
1 green pepper (can be sweet or spicy)
10 leaves of fresh mint
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
salt to taste
1 teaspoon of cumin (optional)
