Awesome work. You’re the reason why I started making the flags. I really like the torched look. I’m a retired vet. I made one for myself and my friends have ordered several different style flags from me. I’m glad you did a video with the dremel stylist tool. I have considered buying one, but after watching your video I think I’ll pass on it. Just because of the speed. I did make a flag shaped like the United States but I used 13 individual boards and torched it. My glue joints failed. I’m going to try your 2 piece method. Thank you for your help and advice.

This is an AWESOME video howto. If I may add; I would say on the back of the boards, add LED lights around the edges to create a backlight effect, and you can have it connect to a small AA battery pack (5V) that would be mounted on teh back as well so it could be easily accessible.

@@MaxF01 I make templates for EVERYTHING I build. It always seems that if I build one of something that a week or a month later someone wants the exact same thing. Yeas ago I began making a rocking horse for each of the women here at work. I made templates for the body head and supports. Now when I find out that one is expecting I pull out the templates and lay them down and trace it and take it to the bandsaw. What used to take 3 hours now takes about 15 minutes.
