The color contrast between the pink and bright green really works. When you started putting the flock down it immediately made me think of jungle or rainforest terrariums

Looks like a blamite mine from halo to me. if I could offer some critique, sanding the larger crystals then hitting them with a filling primer would have done a lot of good. Those layer lines are very obvious.

You can, but I do think modelling compound is better. Filler tends to crack on me, or I crack it by pushing it (as the foam underneath is generally soft). In my experience, modelling compound is significantly better for this kind of stuff. 😀

Just as a side note, in case anyone doesn’t know, if you do have a hot wire cutter, and you are using the same type of polystyrene here, wear a mask. Melting polystyrene is heavily toxic
