Hi Jenna, I used ordinary plastic sheet from a hardware shop, the type used for covering greenhouses works well. Any 'thermo plastic' will work, which just means it softens when heated. The black strip is cut from a sheet of Teflon 'oven liner'. This stuff doesn't burn or stick to the plastic. You can also use something like masking tape (2 pieces stuck together). You need to make sure that the plastic has cooled completely before taking the strip off. Hope that helps.

What kind of material are you using to make the cushion? Also what is the black material?

Hello I am lost, with the materials, I tried with the tarpaulin that I have here and HUMMM bad! Then, the strips, where we can get them? I have an electrical nail/welding, without the strip it burns the plastic, please help! :) thanks for sharing

Hi Maria, yes, you have to be careful what you heat up! Clear plastic sheet is good if you can find it. For the strip I use teflon oven lining sheet cut into 1-2cm strips. You can also use masking tape if you stick a few pieces together. It depends where you are and what you have available. I did think that a long leaf mightwork as well, but haven't tried it.

gafoor kml Hi, I cut up a sheet of teflon/non-stick oven liner. You can also use decorators/masking tape by putting two pieces together sticky side in.
