1k,10k & 100ohm... With receiver (black color led) connect 10k & transmitter (100ohm)

Calibrate the variable resistor (103 means 10k)or potentiometer slowly when led is off then slowly move clockwise & anticlockwise...see in video or go to my line follower video. Note - potentiometer is a resistor but u can vary up to 0-10k

Ir sensor work on dark area according to sunlight u callibrate with the help of potentiometer or variable resistor...it works properly

In variable there are 3pins one is vary pin middle pin (which is connected to pin no 2 of lm358 ) , one is +ve pin no 8(lm358) & one -ve pin 4(lm358) you can interchange +ve & -ve
