Personally a bigger fan of the Firefall helmet with the Rakshasa chest, since they're both a bit more angular. Bullfrog is my personal visor choice, as a reference to the Reach campaign Jump ODSTs, and it clashes a little less with the coating.

Personally I'd go with the Rashaka, because it has less of the spartan visual style in it. Like the thigh pads, gauntlets, shin guards, and back have too much "Spartan" goin' on for an ODST. Of course they both still look awesome!

Alpha 9 all became Spartans and all of them had ODST armor basically as Spartans in Mkvi.

I really like using the skull knee pads for the rakshasa.

The bullfrog visor works better, in the games after Halo 3 the visor went from being blue to being a light blue color, and that visor is from the odsts from halo reach

Something i noticed the other day was that the mark 4 knee pad you get in the spirit of fire pass is actually an odst knee pad! Doesnt say it is but its sooooo close to being identical

Definitely love seeing different lore accurate ODSTs, mine looks more like a scout or sniper class more than the base ODST look, this is on the rakasha core, in my opinion is the better option for an ODST build

Nice. My personal preference is also the rakshasa. I usually mix it up a bit, too, with the walkie-talkie shoulder on one side and shotty ammo on the other.

Good old odst absolutely perfect video idea you can do a spin off of this video and make a video just purely making alternate versions, ex, a commander odst or a heavy odst

Personally, even though it doesn’t have any ODST chest piece, I’d go with the Mirage core. It looks just right. It’s got the right amount of bulk, while not looking like full on MJOLNIR nor barely armored motocross gear like Rakshasa.

Yeah man try it out it won't disappoint. Unfortunately I missed out and I that armor coating I'll have to wait until it's in store again. But I'm running the cloud nine skin it's black with camo on the pants chest arms and Helmet with blue accents looks pretty good but the ones you displayed is way better I gotta get my hands on that one, wish they came out with a colored variant of it for the shoulders and helmet

@@walkermeyer4324 You can buy any bundle or item whenever, it's only when it enters the shop that it'll be on sale. Which is what I assume you're waiting for, but just in case u didn't know.

@@walkermeyer4324 When you customize a core, you can press 'A' on any piece you don't have (Helmets, coatings, shoulders, visors, chest pieces...) and then press 'X' to view the bundle. That means you don't have to check the shop every Tuesday. 👍

Im happy with how my odst looks. I use mk7 core, the halo reach helmet, shadow sorel, and, odst shoulders. AAP ordinance pack. The silhouette is a bit sharper i want to see other people try it

Rakshasa would be my personal choice. Doesn’t have the spartan look to it. Maybe SPI, if I wanted to capture some of that H2A ODST vibe (the best ODST vibe)

The only thing I have ever bought from the shop was the fire fall helmet, and that was only because I really wanted the weekly challenge reward. For some reason, the last challenge wouldn't register. I think it was like 3 back smacks in a single game. I counted 3 back smacks over and over again and it just wouldn't unlock, and I didn't have any challenge swaps left so I bought a challenge swap and used the remainder to buy fire fall. Shit pissed me off lol

we got A HW themed battle pass, I hope we get a ODST themed one to at some point, be cool to see teh fire team raven ODST gear in HI, or heck I take some armor coatings that give us the old Halo ODST squad colors

The ODST helmets (well all of them now that I think of it) are either small or oddly shaped. The ODST helmets chin portion looks… shrunk.

I believe there are two dark, grey skins in the campaign you can find on the map. Shadow sorel and midnight.

In halo reach odsts would use the gungnir knee pads. And the sensor thingy on their helmets. I rly wish the gungnir shoulders were in infinite so I could look like the troopers/marines

Everything in the video is available to unlock or purchase except for the Rakshasa kneepads, which were part of a timed event. They will probably return in the exchange at some point, though.

Its been howbmany years and the game still hasn't been enjoyable enough to put the time in for the odst helmet in the launch battlepass As a life long halo fan my soul aches for a good new halo

That's sucks man. I personally really like the gameplay, so I've put in plenty of time. The new spartan points have got me back on the grind, too. I understand why lots of people are still disappointed, though. I hope you enjoy the next game more.

@@SpartanNico I played the launch and early access and specifically with infinite there's always just been so much feeling missing or soulless. The multiplayer for me was a frustrating experience but I always hold out hope that eventually they'll make soemthing out of it.

Unfortunately, not at the moment. They are the type of thing that will rotate into the SP exchange that's being released next week, though. So eventually, they will return with any luck.

@@SpartanNico Alrighty! I personally like mirage IIC more than rakshasa because rakshasa just looks awkward without some sort of back armor. It also looks like your spartan is wearing underwear 💀
